Beltran's wife, a receptionist in a pediatrician's office, obtained an emergency

50B domestic violence protective order to protect herself and her children from

him on 22 Mar. 2018 in Randolph County, NC District Court. (File No. 18 CVD 633).

A permanent restraining order was entered against Beltran on 2 May 2018.

On 22 March 2018, the court found that on 15 March 2018 Beltran "pointed a

firearm at his wife and threatened to shoot her while the minor children were present

in the home". Other verified allegations which resulted in the court issuing a restrain-

ing order against Beltran were that he had assaulted his wife on numerous occasions

throughout their marriage by beating her with his fists and by kicking her. His wife's

co-workers and family members observed bruises to his wife's face and body after

Beltran's wife testified that he committed the assaults. Beltran is ordered to stay away

from his wife. He is ordered not to assault her, threaten her, abuse her, follow, harass,

or interfere with her.
