DOMESTIC VIOLENCE:
The verified allegations which let to the court issuing an emergency protective order on 30
January 2019 and a permanent domestic violence protective/restraining order on 7 February
2019 in Randolph County District Court (File No. 19 CVD 209) were that "On January 5, 2019 Rodney came to my house with a house key. I repeatedly told him he was not welcome. He opened the door. I shot him with a pellet gun...He took the pellet gun out of my hand and put it to my head. He even flipped the gun backwards and told me that he was going to beat
my brains out with the gun. He said he was going to burn my house down with myself as well as my daughter inside...He also pulled a knife on me". The court ordered Lapradd to have no contact with the victim; to stay at least 1000 feet away from her at all times; to refrain from assaulting, harassing, following, or interfering with the victim and her children; to stay away from the victim's home, the children's school; and to refrain from threatening any member of the victim's household. The court ordered Lapradd to surrender all of his firearms and prohibited him from owning or possessing firearms.
