Abusers Exposed

      Grown men who physically and emotionally abuse women are just lower forms of humanity.  They often get away with their unlawful conduct because they control their victims to the point that they are stripped of their self-esteem, isolated from their support groups, and deprived of their spirit to resist. These overbearing individuals should be publicly exposed and identified because they often present a continuing threat in new relationships. They usually do their dirty work in secret, usually behind closed doors, and they feel secure because they have their victims under control.  The abused and battered girls and women often do not realize that they are in danger or that they are being abused. It is as if they are in the physical and emotional clutches of a cult leader. They will not see the signs, and they will not listen to family members and friends who clearly see what is happening. The victim may or may not reach a breaking point which will allow her to escape.  Sometimes that point arrives when the abuser turns on her children.  This unlawful abuse is a serious problem in the Piedmont Triad community.

     We invite you to help us to expose the abusers, using the following guidelines: The emotional or physical abuse must be severe or serious;  the abuse must be corroborated and documented in 50B domestic violence protective orders, criminal conviction judgments, or similar sources.
